Your Second Visit to Our Carlsbad Practice

What can chiropractic care do for you?

Carlsbad Chiropractor

After we study your health history and correlate our examination findings, we’ll make recommendations designed to help you get and keep your health. Our goal is to come up with a plan that will work for you! We call this the Report of Findings.

This is usually attended to on your second visit, which may be later the same day or the following.

This two-visit approach accomplishes several things:

  • Reduces the length of your first visit
  • Gives us time to correlate our findings
  • Avoids overloading you with too much information

In certain situations, and in the professional judgment of Dr. Jacobs, we sometimes make exceptions. It just depends on your unique situation.

Take a look to see what to expect during you regular visits to our office.

Dr. Jacobs Asks some important questions of interest to Carlsbad residents - Chiropractor Carlsbad Dr. Jacobs Asks...

Do chiropractors prescribe medications for the pain?
No. Chiropractic is a drug-free approach to better health. Instead, we rely on natural methods. We can show you how to use ice to control pain. When properly applied, ice can have an analgesic effect without the unwanted and sometimes dangerous effects of pain medications.
What happens if you stop chiropractic care when you feel better?
Many Carlsbad folks recognize that this predisposes you to a relapse. Chiropractors know that muscles and ligaments supporting the spine don't fully heal until after symptoms subside.
